Round sight glass used in chemical pipe
Round sight glass, also called circular glass panel and round glass disc, is commonly used in industry pipe, high pressure tank, boiler and flanges for viewing the liquid flow and level indicator.
The material can range from soda lime glass, borosilicate glass, aluminosilicate glass to quartz, according to the working condition. The soda lime glass suitable for less than 150℃ temperature situation. Borosilicate glass can beat high temperature like 430℃ and high pressure 400bars. Aluminosilicate glass pressure resistance is best and quartz glass can bear 1200℃ high temperature. Quartz glass also have good transparency for UV light.
We can also drill holes on the round sight glass for more convenient in installation.
